Pre-Kindergarten - 5

The strengthening of Christian values is vital to the total development of youth. It is important that students love God, love humanity, and love themselves. In the Academy of Cardinal Stritch our youngest students learn our Catholic identity by experiencing the faith in hands on ways in the classroom and through liturgy. Students are taught Life Skills to support our values and these are integrated into the classrooms. The strengthening of Christian values is vital to the total development of youth. The core curriculum for each student includes Religion, Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Students should expect instruction in these subjects daily. Co-curricular classes include Art, Music, Physical Education, Spanish (1-5), and Technology. PreK – 5 th grade attend these classes once or twice a week for the entire year.

Our youngest Cardinals also have integrated technology in their classrooms. Grades PK-3 have one to one iPads that have differentiated learning materials appropriate for their age and allow them to practice important skills. Grades four and five have laptops that allow them to experience keyboarding, researching information, and practicing skills that are differentiated for them.
