SKCA Clubs & Activities

There are many opportunities for SKCA students to participate in athletics, clubs, groups and other organizations. Taking part in extracurricular activities can be a very rewarding part of the St. Kateri experience. Contact Mr. Petro, Director of Student Life, with other questions. (

The SKCA Book Club encourages a love of reading beyond the classroom. Students come together to read books and practice their speaking voices and creative interpretation of characters. Discussion may include stories that have been read before the club meets or the story they are reading at that time.

(Grades 3-8)
Coding Club introduces and reinforces coding techniques through the web site. Students participate in the international Hour of Code in December. Students learn problem solving techniques, critical thinking skills, and have fun the whole time. At the end of each session the students share projects that they have been working on.

The SKCA Student Council helps plan events, Spirit Weeks, pep rallies and other programming for the entire Academy. Students learn leadership skills and public speaking skills, while helping to build school spirit and foster the Cardinal family in the Academy.
