Payroll Protection Plan (Loan/Grant)

Cardinal Family,
Hopefully all of you have managed to enjoy some part of this very different 4th July weekend and remain healthy and safe. Over the last couple of weeks, we received a couple of questions regarding the Government's Payroll Protection Plan and whether or not we participated in this support plan.
As we have struggled through the last four plus months during the pandemic shutdown, we have indeed been blessed by your support of our School. We do appreciate deeply that you fully understand that during this very difficult time most of our expenses never stopped, and your continued support of Cardinal Stritch has been a true blessing. To further assist us during these difficult times, the school was able to apply for and receive the Small Business Administration ( SBA )  Payroll Protection Plan Loan/Grant.
We were granted $450,000 to assist in keeping our employees working and out of the Unemployment Compensation Program. Due to the fact that we followed the terms of this program the loan we received will be converted into a grant.
Thank you again for your ongoing prayerful support.
In Christ
