amberIsabella Blair ‘20 decided to finish up the rest of her SOS hours by making N95 cloth covers to help extend the life of original N95’s. Promedica posted the instructions on their website and Isabella delivered covers to Bay Park Hospital AND delivered masks to CS alum Dr. Angie Jackson’s optical practice, since she was in need of covers for her staff to service patients. Her Soccer Coach, Dan Roggelin writes:

Amber missed the first half of the 2017 (Sophomore) Season due to transferring to Cardinal Stritch. She stepped into the goal in our 9th game and following the game our starting goalkeeper came to the coaches and said the Amber was the right goalkeeper for the team. Amber has been a leader of the team since. This year has been tough with two new inexperienced players on the defense, along with an overall young team following the loss of several experienced starters at the beginning of the season. Amber's hard work and leadership has kept this team in games against better teams. Her career save total is currently 655 saves with an 85% career save average. Amber has found herself in many 1 or more on 1 attacks when our young defense was beaten. In 2018, Amber was selected as Co - Player of the Year in the Northwest Ohio Scholastic Soccer League and was second in voting for Player of the Year in the Toledo Area Athletic Conference. Amber was selected First Team All-League in the Toledo Area Athletic Conference this year (2019). Amber was selected Second Team ALL DISTRICT in 2018. As the only senior on this year's Cardinals team, Amber's skills and never quit attitude deserve recognition. Amber was selected Second Team ALL DISTRICT in 2019.

Her Softball Coach, Tony Espsoito writes:

Amber Daly has been with the Lady Cardinals softball squad for three years and has been a staple of our infield at shortstop. Born with gifted athletic talent to span a variety of sports, she has excelled to All-TAAC honors both of her previous years, even finishing second as the TAAC player of the year, last season. Her enthusiasm and attitude has risen her to captain status as she leads and inspires the underclassmen to play above their comfort zone to become better players as we become a better team. Combined with her academic achievements, she is a leader both on the field and in the classroom.
