A Night at the Races

Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 29, 2023, for an evening of excitement complete with horse racing, betting, derby hats, and all-around fun at "A Night at the Races". This will be an exciting evening filled with friends, food, a cash bar, betting, raffles, and horse racing, all benefiting scholarship opportunities for the students at Cardinal Stritch. Dress is casual attire, but feel free to wear your derby-style hat to really get into the theme!

 

The evening will consist of 10 pre-recorded races, featuring 10 horses per race, shown on a large screen. Nine races will be sold prior to the event. The horses for the 10th race will be auctioned during the event. Owners of the winning horses will receive a prize and ultimate bragging rights. There is no limit on how many horses you may purchase, but only 90 horses will be sold prior to the event. Horse owners and horse names will be printed in the event program and announced during the race. Even if you are unable to attend, you can still be a horse owner! Horses will be randomly selected per race prior to the event. Purchasers that have multiple horses will not be featured in the same race(s).
