For the second year in a row, Stritch students have been recognized for their artistic accomplishments in the 2018 Scholastic Art Awards. Senior Bobby Guth received a gold key for his painting "Angels," (bottom right) which will automatically advance to national judging in New York City. Senior Bethany Sager received an honorable mention for her photograph "The Forest Calls" (bottom left).

Both students have been invited to attend an awards ceremony and their work will be on display from February 10 to April 8, 2018 at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art. Last year, Amanda Gargac '17 received a silver key for her painting "First Born," a gold key for "Mentor," and a gold key for "Storyteller." Our congratulations to the students and their amazing teacher, Mrs. Kyla Gorey on this incredible accomplishment and continued success of the Cardinal Stritch Art Department.
