Thank you to everyone who has supported the project for new band uniforms! The response has been overwhelming and donations are continuing to come in. The first goal was to raise $5,000 and when that was reached the Bob Reynolds Jr. ’65 Legacy Endowment for the Arts, on behalf of the Reynolds family, contributed $10,000. This was a bit more than enough to place an order for 30 band uniforms (jumpsuit, shako hat, coat and gauntlets) and five color guard tunics to be ordered! As of today, when just $1,300 more is raised the second goal will be reached, so much sooner than expected, and another order can be placed for hat boxes, lined raincoats, garment bags and a blazer for the band director! The band will then have 30 complete band uniforms going into the 2021-22 school year, just in time to celebrate Cardinal Stritch’s 60th anniversary!
