Today Cardinal Stritch received confirmation of positive COVID tests which result in close contact quarantines for some of the members of our high school Varsity football program. If the quarantine affects your student or family, our school nurse will contact you directly to give you further information.
To protect our students and to prevent the further spread of COVID-19, the Cardinal Stritch administration has decided it is in the best interest of our student-athletes and our opponents not to play the football games this Friday, September 17, 2021 against Gilmour Academy and next Friday, September 24 against Hopewell-Loudon.
We understand that this decision may disappoint the Cardinal Stritch community, but we hold the health and safety of our students in high regard and believe that this is the best decision based on the information we have.
Updates about this weekend’s Homecoming events will be announced in tomorrow’s Family Communication.
